Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with creamy cheese and savory fillings, enhanced by a kick of Cajun spices.


Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Cooked chicken, shrimp, or mixed vegetables
  • Cheddar or pepper jack cheese
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the savory filling—chicken or shrimp, cheese, and Cajun seasoning—until evenly coated.
  2. Place an egg roll wrapper flat and add a spoonful of filling in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold the sides and roll upwards, sealing with water.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer cooked egg rolls to paper towels to drain excess oil.
