Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the mashed sweet potato, sugar, milk, and half of the melted butter in a separate bowl until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
  5. Prepare the baking dish by pouring the remaining melted butter into it.
  6. Scoop the biscuit dough into the prepared dish, leaving space between scoops.

  8. Serve warm, enjoying the buttery aroma and flavor.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute melted butter with coconut oil and use plant-based milk.
