- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by heating 1 tablespoon of olive oil in your skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes.
- Increase the heat slightly, then add the ground beef. Break it apart with your spatula and cook until no pink remains, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the taco seasoning along with the diced bell peppers if using. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
- Serve the seasoned beef in taco shells and top with your favorite toppings.
