Description

A quick and flavorful seasoned ground beef recipe perfect for tacos, burritos, and more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating 1 tablespoon of olive oil in your skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Increase the heat slightly, then add the ground beef. Break it apart with your spatula and cook until no pink remains, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning along with the diced bell peppers if using. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve the seasoned beef in taco shells and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

You can prep the meat and seasoning ahead of time and store in airtight containers.
