Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Beat the eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until fluffy.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the grated carrots and salted caramel sauce gently.
- Divide the batter equally between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then cool completely on wire racks.
- Beat the cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
- Spread frosting between the layers and on top of the cake; drizzle with additional salted caramel sauce.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy every luxurious bite!
