Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer the ingredients in your slow cooker, starting with the pork shoulder. Add onion and garlic, then sprinkle chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Set the slow cooker to low heat for 8 hours, allowing the meat to cook until tender.
  3. Shred the pork using two forks, mixing it back into the juices.
  4. Warm the tortillas until pliable over a flame or in a dry skillet.
  5. Assemble your tacos by loading tortillas with shredded pork, topping with cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro.
