Description

Delicious and tender pulled pork tacos filled with savory, slow-cooked pork and vibrant toppings for a delightful meal experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the pork shoulder: Generously sprinkle the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the pork. Massage the seasoning in with your hands.
  2. Slow cook the pork: Place the seasoned pork in your slow cooker and pour in the chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Shred the pork: Remove the pork from the slow cooker and use two forks or meat claws to shred the meat into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Return to the juices: Place the shredded pork back into the slow cooker to soak up the delicious juices.
  5. Heat the tortillas: Warm your corn tortillas on a hot skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble your tacos: Start with a portion of pulled pork, add shredded cabbage, and finish with a sprinkle of cilantro. Add lime wedge for squeezing.
