- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season the pork shoulder: Generously sprinkle the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the pork. Massage the seasoning in with your hands.
- Slow cook the pork: Place the seasoned pork in your slow cooker and pour in the chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the pork: Remove the pork from the slow cooker and use two forks or meat claws to shred the meat into bite-sized pieces.
- Return to the juices: Place the shredded pork back into the slow cooker to soak up the delicious juices.
- Heat the tortillas: Warm your corn tortillas on a hot skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble your tacos: Start with a portion of pulled pork, add shredded cabbage, and finish with a sprinkle of cilantro. Add lime wedge for squeezing.
