Description

Delightful bite-sized treats of sausage wrapped in golden puff pastry, perfect for gatherings and snack time.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of cocktail sausages
  • 1 package of refrigerated puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small rectangles, about 3×4 inches.
  3. Wrap a cocktail sausage onto each rectangle, roll it up snugly, and seal the edges by pinching them together.
  4. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and arrange the wrapped sausages on it evenly.
  5. Brush the tops of each pastry with the beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
  7. Whisk together honey and mustard in a small bowl for dipping.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make ahead by assembling and refrigerating for up to 24 hours before baking. Consider using air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for a quicker option.
