Description

A quick and easy microwave mug brownie that is rich, fudgy, and ready in under five minutes.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Chocolate chips or nuts for mixing in

Instructions

  1. In your chosen microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well with a whisk or fork until fully blended.
  2. Next, pour in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until you create a smooth batter.
  3. If you wish to elevate your brownie further, fold in some chocolate chips or nuts.
  4. Place your mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 1 minute, checking at the 45-second mark.
  5. Carefully remove the mug from the microwave and allow it to cool for 1 minute before serving.

Notes

Feel free to prepare dry ingredients in advance and store in an airtight container. You can also bake it in an oven preheated to 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
