Description

A scrumptious Honey Baked Ham glazed with honey, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard, perfect for holiday celebrations and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 spiral sliced ham
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Cloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Whisk together the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
  3. Place the spiral sliced ham cut-side down in a roasting pan.
  4. Brush the glaze over the entire surface of the ham.
  5. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes per pound.
  7. Remove the foil during the final 30 minutes to allow for caramelization.
  8. Insert cloves into the ham during the last half hour if using.
  9. Allow the ham to rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Prepare the glaze a day in advance for convenience. Ensure the ham rests after cooking to keep it juicy.
