Description

This vibrant homemade salsa is bursting with flavor from fresh tomatoes, cilantro, and a kick of jalapeño, perfect for dipping or as a refreshing topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 12 jalapeños, seeded and minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced tomatoes, finely chopped onions, chopped cilantro, and minced jalapeños in a mixing bowl.
  2. Squeeze the lime over the mixture.
  3. Season with salt and mix well.
  4. Gently mix everything together without mashing the tomatoes.
  5. Let the salsa sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

Notes

Salsa keeps well in the fridge for a day or two. Consider adding cilantro just before serving for extra freshness.
