Description

This Grilled Shrimp with Honey Marinade combines succulent shrimp with a sweet and tangy honey marinade, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk the marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Marinate the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the marinade, tossing to coat, and let soak for about 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Skewer the shrimp: Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Grill the shrimp: Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn opaque and are charred.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove from the grill, garnish with cilantro, and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

For a tropical twist, try adding coconut milk or pineapple juice to the marinade. Ensure not to overcrowd the grill to prevent steaming.
