Description

A vibrant salad featuring fresh strawberries, mixed greens, and tangy feta cheese, perfect for summer picnics or light luncheons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries, sliced
  • 4 cups Mixed Greens (spinach, arugula, romaine)
  • 1 cup Feta Cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar or Lemon Juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and Prepare Strawberries: Gently rinse your strawberries under cool water. Remove the stems and slice them into thin rounds.
  2. Toss the Greens: In a large mixing bowl, add a generous handful of mixed greens.
  3. Add the Strawberries: Carefully fold in the sliced strawberries.
  4. Crumble the Feta: Sprinkle an ample amount of crumbled feta over the salad.
  5. Whisk the Dressing: In a separate bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar (or lemon juice), salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  6. Dress the Salad: Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently.
  7. Serve Immediately: Present in a large bowl, garnishing with additional feta if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare ingredients a day in advance and store the dressing separately.
