Description

A succulent glazed ham with a sweet and savory honey-brown sugar glaze, perfect for holiday celebrations and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 810 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern using a sharp knife.
  3. Mix the brown sugar, honey, orange juice, pineapple juice, ground cloves, cinnamon, and ginger until smooth.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the ham, ensuring to cover every crevice.
  5. Place the ham in a roasting pan; cover loosely with foil.
  6. Bake for approximately 15-18 minutes per pound, basting occasionally.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking.
  8. Let the ham rest for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the glaze a day in advance and store in the refrigerator. Cooking alternatives: Air fry smaller hams for quicker results.
