Description

A quick and delicious shrimp lo mein recipe featuring tender shrimp, colorful vegetables, and silky noodles in a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles by boiling them according to package instructions. Drain under cold water and set aside.
  2. Heat the pan by warming the sesame oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Incorporate the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 3 minutes until slightly softened.
  6. Fold in the cooked lo mein noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, tossing everything for about 2 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.
