Description

A comforting and delicious fried rice dish featuring tender beef, colorful vegetables, and creamy scrambled eggs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb beef (cubed or sliced)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, bell peppers)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until fragrant.
  2. Sauté chopped onion until soft and translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and beef, cooking until the beef is browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Push the beef to one side of the skillet and scramble the eggs in the cleared area.
  5. Combine the rice and mixed vegetables, stirring to mix everything thoroughly, and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drizzle soy sauce over the mixture, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Use day-old rice for best texture; fresh rice can result in a mushy dish. Customize with your favorite vegetables.
