Description
Succulent chicken breasts bathed in a luxurious ranch sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Sear the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the breasts with salt and pepper and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Prepare the ranch sauce: In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix. Scrape the bottom of the pan and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Incorporate the cream: Gradually whisk in the heavy cream, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
- Combine chicken and sauce: Return the seared chicken to the skillet, coating each piece in the sauce. Heat through for an additional 2 minutes.
- Garnish and serve: Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
Make-ahead options include searing the chicken in advance and storing it. Try using an air fryer for crispier chicken.
