Description

Indulge in these luscious homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, where rich chocolate meets creamy peanut butter for an irresistible treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line your muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Pour a layer of melted chocolate into each liner, filling them one-third full.
  5. Add a spoonful of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer.
  6. Cover the peanut butter with more melted chocolate, filling the liners to the top.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes until firm.
  9. Remove from the muffin tin and enjoy!

Notes

These cups can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to a week, or frozen for three months.
