Description

Delicious Chicken Wonton Tacos offer a fusion of savory ground chicken and crispy wonton wrappers, perfect for appetizers or a fun dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 4 cups slaw mix
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Oil for frying
  • Hoisin sauce or sriracha for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil in a heavy-bottomed frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the ground chicken until browned, stirring in minced garlic, ginger, and soy sauce for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine the slaw mix with chopped green onions and a splash of sauce in a separate bowl.
  4. Form wonton shells and fry them until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Fill each crispy shell with the chicken and slaw mixture.
  6. Drizzle the filled tacos with sauce before serving.

Notes

You can make the chicken filling in advance and store it for up to two days; fry the wonton wrappers fresh when serving.
