Description

A healthy and protein-packed twist on traditional pizza with a crispy chicken crust topped with pepperoni and gooey mozzarella.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup additional shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the ground chicken, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a large bowl. Mix until well blended.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined pizza pan, forming a thin layer.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
  5. Remove from the oven and spread the tomato sauce over the crust.
  6. Top your pizza with the remaining mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices, covering evenly.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the chicken crust in advance and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours. For quicker cooking, use an air fryer at 370°F for 10-12 minutes.
