Description

Deliciously stuffed chicken breasts filled with a creamy mixture of mozzarella, cream cheese, and herbs, baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (basil, parsley, or thyme), chopped
  • 1 cup zesty marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
  2. Combine softened cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth.
  3. Slice a pocket into the thickest part of each chicken breast, ensuring not to cut through the other side.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with the cheesy mixture, ensuring it’s well-filled.
  5. Brush the outside of each stuffed chicken breast with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the stuffed chicken in the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad, drizzling with zesty marinara.

Make ahead by assembling the stuffed chicken a day in advance and refrigerating.
