Ingredients

- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil or butter over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
- Add broccoli florets and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and cook for one minute.
- Pour in vegetable broth gradually while stirring, and bring to a gentle simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
