Description

Delightful muffins combining flaky croissant dough with a creamy filling and fresh blueberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl, blending until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface and gently separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle, followed by a few fresh blueberries.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end towards the narrow tip, pinching the edges to seal.
  6. Arrange the rolled muffins on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden color.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving and enjoy warm.

Notes

For a twist, try adding lemon zest or substitute blueberries with other berries.
