- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl, blending until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface and gently separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle, followed by a few fresh blueberries.
- Roll the dough from the wide end towards the narrow tip, pinching the edges to seal.
- Arrange the rolled muffins on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden color.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- Dust with powdered sugar just before serving and enjoy warm.
Notes
For a twist, try adding lemon zest or substitute blueberries with other berries.
