Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, sourdough starter, warm water, salt, and sugar until combined.
  2. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled, about 4 hours.
  4. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  5. Combine cream cheese, lemon juice, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth.
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Swirl in the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
