Description

A crowd-pleasing appetizer with savory bacon wrapped around tender cocktail sausages, glazed with brown sugar for a perfect balance of flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Cocktail Sausages
  • 1 pound Thick-Cut Bacon
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • Optional Seasonings: Black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut each bacon slice into thirds.
  3. Wrap each sausage in a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  4. Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet, ensuring space between each.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over the bacon-wrapped sausages.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until crispy and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing and wrapping sausages a day in advance. Use an air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for quicker cooking if desired.
