Description

A delightful fusion of cinnamon rolls and apple pie, perfect for brunch or a cozy evening treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of cinnamon roll dough
  • 2 cups of apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish generously.
  2. Open the cinnamon roll dough and carefully separate the rolls. Cut each roll into quarters.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Stir gently until well mixed.
  4. Layer half of the quartered cinnamon rolls in the bottom of the baking dish. Pour half of the apple pie filling mixture over them.
  5. Scatter the remaining cinnamon roll pieces on top and pour the rest of the apple mixture over.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the sweet glaze over the warm dish before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: You can prepare the apple pie filling a day in advance. If you are short on time, consider using an air fryer.
