Ingredients

- 1 can of cinnamon roll dough
- 2 cups of apple pie filling
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish generously.
- Open the cinnamon roll dough and carefully separate the rolls. Cut each roll into quarters.
- In a large bowl, combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Stir gently until well mixed.
- Layer half of the quartered cinnamon rolls in the bottom of the baking dish. Pour half of the apple pie filling mixture over them.
- Scatter the remaining cinnamon roll pieces on top and pour the rest of the apple mixture over.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the sweet glaze over the warm dish before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: You can prepare the apple pie filling a day in advance. If you are short on time, consider using an air fryer.
