Description

These chewy cookies combine creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate chips, perfect for a quick and delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  2. Combine in a mixing bowl the peanut butter, brown sugar, oats, and baking soda until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips into the mixture.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them for spreading.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are set.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Keep an eye on the cookies as they can quickly overbake. If dough is too sticky, refrigerate for a bit before baking.
