Description

A delicious and vibrant dish featuring shrimp, avocado, and a refreshing mango salsa topped with a zesty lime-chili sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ripe avocados, diced
  • 1 cup mango, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice to make the mango salsa. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with chili powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In serving bowls, layer diced avocado, cooked shrimp, and top with mango salsa.
  4. Drizzle lime-chili sauce over the bowls before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more jalapeño to the salsa.
  • Can substitute shrimp with grilled chicken for a different protein option.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
