Description

A wholesome, low-carb bowl that reimagines classic burger flavors with juicy ground beef, tender red potatoes, and creamy sauces.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 3 medium Red Potatoes
  • 1 cup Onions
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Pickles
  • 1 cup Lettuce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and cut the red potatoes into small pieces. Steam or boil until tender, about 15 minutes, then set aside.
  2. Caramelize the Onions: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and a pinch of salt; cook for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Sear the Beef: Increase heat to high, add ground beef, breaking it up while pressing into the pan. Sprinkle with half of the Cajun seasoning; sear for 4 minutes, then flip and sear for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and remaining Cajun seasoning until creamy.
  5. Assemble the Bowl: Layer tender potatoes in a serving bowl, top with seared beef and caramelized onions, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Dress with the creamy sauce, add pickles, and a heap of fresh lettuce. Serve warm.
