Description

A delicious and healthy side dish featuring tender asparagus roasted to perfection and topped with crispy Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  4. Toss to coat the asparagus evenly.
  5. Spread the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until tender and slightly crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
