- 8 hot dogs
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Flour (for dusting)
- Ketchup and mustard (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it measures about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into strips, each about 1-inch wide.
- Wrap each hot dog with a strip of puff pastry, sealing the edges carefully.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Serve hot with ketchup and mustard.
Notes
Make-ahead by preparing the hot dogs in advance and refrigerating until ready to bake. For air-fryer method, set to 375°F and cook for about 10-12 minutes.
