Description

Delight in the flavors of the Mediterranean with perfectly grilled shrimp, coated in creamy basil pesto, combining smoky and herbaceous notes for a delightful summer dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and soak wooden skewers if using.
  3. Thread marinated shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
