Description

Succulent chicken breasts cloaked in a crispy, Parmesan crust served with creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
  5. Dip floured chicken in egg mixture, letting excess drip off.
  6. Coat each breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  9. Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
  10. Cook minced garlic in the skillet, then add heavy cream and stir until it thickens.
  11. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  12. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  13. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the chicken up to the baking step earlier in the day and refrigerate. Consider using air fryer for a healthier option.
