- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
- Dip floured chicken in egg mixture, letting excess drip off.
- Coat each breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
- Cook minced garlic in the skillet, then add heavy cream and stir until it thickens.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the chicken up to the baking step earlier in the day and refrigerate. Consider using air fryer for a healthier option.
