- 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes until browned.
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Pour in the beef broth and milk, stirring to combine.
- Add the pasta and Italian seasoning, ensuring it’s mostly submerged.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and let cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the pasta is tender, reduce heat and stir in the parmesan cheese and butter.
- Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
