- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup mint chocolate chip ice cream
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Green food coloring (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, preferably using a food processor. Combine them with melted butter and mix thoroughly. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.
- Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until stiff peaks form.
- Blend sweetened condensed milk, mint chocolate chip ice cream, peppermint extract, and optional green food coloring until smooth.
- Fold the whipped cream into the mint mixture using a spatula, being careful not to deflate the cream.
- Pour the mint mixture into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or fresh mint leaves before serving.
Notes
This pie stores beautifully in the fridge for up to three days. Adjust the mint flavor with extract to your preference.
