Description

Delightful chocolate cupcakes topped with enchanting glow-in-the-dark frosting, perfect for parties or celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Glow-in-the-dark frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with colorful paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix until incorporated.
  4. Carefully stir in the boiling water to achieve a thin batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
  8. Prepare the glow-in-the-dark frosting and frost the cooled cupcakes.
  9. Display them under a blacklight to reveal the enchanting glow.

Notes

Bake the cupcakes ahead of time and store in an airtight container. Customize with chocolate chips or different flavored frostings.
