- 4 pita pockets
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cucumber, diced
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Introduce the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
- Sprinkle in the cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, around 6-8 minutes.
- Warm the pita pockets in the oven or microwave until pliable.
- Assemble each pita pocket with a scoop of the beef mixture, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta cheese.
- Drizzle with tzatziki sauce right before serving.
