Description

  • 4 pita breads

  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, feta cheese, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  4. Warm the pita breads on the grill for a minute on each side.
  5. Assemble the gyros by placing cooked chicken in the pita, topping with tzatziki sauce, and garnishing with fresh dill.
