Description

Succulent Greek chicken tenders marinated in garlic, lemon, and oregano, perfectly grilled or baked for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat Your Cooking Surface: Preheat the grill to medium-high or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Cook the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill or baking sheet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Allow to Rest: Remove the chicken and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice and Serve: Cut the chicken tenders and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Marinate overnight for deeper flavor. Substitute chicken thighs for a richer taste.
