Description

Garlic Mashed Potatoes are a creamy and flavorful side dish that combines the richness of butter and cream with the aromatic taste of garlic.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks.
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the garlic cloves to the pot.
  4. Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot.
  5. Add butter and heavy cream to the potatoes.
  6. Mash the potatoes and garlic together until smooth and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add roasted garlic instead of boiled garlic.
