- 1 pound frozen fully cooked meatballs
- 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Combine the frozen meatballs, uncooked penne, marinara sauce, water, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove the foil, stir the mixture, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
- Return to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 10 minutes.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra nutrition, add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers. Can be made in an air fryer or slow cooker by adjusting cooking times.
