Ingredients

- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 2 cups bread cubes (day-old bread works best)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Butter for greasing muffin tin
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the muffin tin with butter.
- Combine the softened cream cheese with the chopped strawberries in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
- Add the bread cubes to the egg mixture and gently fold.
- Spoon a layer of the bread mixture into each muffin cup, followed by a scoop of the cream cheese and strawberry mixture.
- Crown each with more bread mixture.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool before indulging.
Notes
Use day-old bread for a better texture. You can prepare the mixtures the night before for convenience.
