Description

A healthier twist on traditional pizza, featuring a delicious chicken crust topped with cheese and pepperoni.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Mix the ground chicken, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined baking tray, molding it into a crust shape about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Add the tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni slices on top of the crust.
  6. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can make the chicken crust ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours before adding toppings and baking.
