A healthier twist on traditional pizza, featuring a delicious chicken crust topped with cheese and pepperoni.

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix the ground chicken, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until well combined.
- Form the mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined baking tray, molding it into a crust shape about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.
- Add the tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni slices on top of the crust.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can make the chicken crust ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours before adding toppings and baking.
