Description

Delicious Cannoli Cookies bursting with the flavors of creamy ricotta, chocolate, and zesty orange in a melt-in-your-mouth treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Ricotta Cheese
  • ½ Cup Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Tablespoon Orange Zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the ricotta cheese, softened butter, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and orange zest.
  7. Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
