Description

A delightful blend of shrimp and steak in a creamy Alfredo sauce, served over fettuccine for a satisfying comfort food experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain while reserving a cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add another tablespoon of butter to the same skillet. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Stir in additional Cajun seasoning and garlic, cooking for another minute.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine with the pan juices. Gradually add Parmesan, mixing until smooth. Add reserved pasta water if sauce is too thick.
  5. Toss the cooked fettuccine, seared steak, and sautéed shrimp in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary. This dish can be customized with seasonal vegetables or alternate proteins.
