Description

Bunny-Shaped Rice Krispie Treats are a fun and festive dessert perfect for spring celebrations and Easter gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Chocolate or candy melts for decoration
  • Edible eyes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until well coated.
  4. If desired, add food coloring to the mixture and mix until evenly colored.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased bunny-shaped mold or onto a baking sheet to cool.
  6. Once cooled, cut out bunny shapes if using a baking sheet.
  7. Decorate with melted chocolate or candy melts and add edible eyes if desired.
  8. Let the decorations set before serving.

Notes

  • For a more colorful treat, use different colors of food coloring.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
  • These treats can be made ahead of time and stored for several days.
