- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Food coloring (optional)
- Chocolate or candy melts for decoration
- Edible eyes (optional)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until well coated.
- If desired, add food coloring to the mixture and mix until evenly colored.
- Press the mixture into a greased bunny-shaped mold or onto a baking sheet to cool.
- Once cooled, cut out bunny shapes if using a baking sheet.
- Decorate with melted chocolate or candy melts and add edible eyes if desired.
- Let the decorations set before serving.
Notes
- For a more colorful treat, use different colors of food coloring.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
- These treats can be made ahead of time and stored for several days.
