Description

Broccoli Chicken Stuffed Shells is a delicious and easy recipe that combines tender chicken, nutritious broccoli, and creamy cheese stuffed into pasta shells, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the chicken and broccoli mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the filling.
