Description

Delightful truffles combining creamy bananas and sweet vanilla, finished with a glossy white chocolate shell, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup banana pudding mix
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
  • Sprinkles or festive decorations

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, stir together the crushed vanilla wafers, banana pudding mix, whipped cream, and mashed bananas until smooth.
  2. Shape the truffles: Use your hands or a cookie scoop to form small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Freeze for firmness: Chill the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate: Using a double boiler or microwave, melt the white chocolate chips until smooth.
  5. Dip your truffles: Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Decorate while wet: Sprinkle festive decorations over the chocolate coating before it sets.
  7. Set before serving: Allow the truffles to rest until the chocolate is fully set, about an hour at room temperature.

Notes

These truffles can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
